Check out the Reel Notes podcast, dedicated to exploring the relationship between rap and film. Episode 34 of Season 6 featuring Keenyn Omari, New York-based, Florida-born, and Georgia-raised producer and multi instrumentalist, is available now. New episodes of Reel Notes drop every Monday on my Patreon for paying members and every Wednesday wherever else podcasts are sold, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and more via PodBean. Reel Notes is also available via my personal YouTube channel, and Podcasts on Vevo.

I've been working with a group of Black culture workers across journalism, music, film, literature, politics, and grassroots organizing to help found New Eyes Collective. We were just featured in Brooklyn Magazine and you can check out our website here to keep tabs on what we have going on.

We stand in solidarity with American immigrants against ICE and the oppressed peoples of Palestine, Congo, Sudan, Tigray, and Haiti. Please consider donating to the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights, the Palestine Children's Relief Fund, The Palestinian Youth Movement, The Zakat Foundation, HealAfrica, FreeTigray, and/or Hope For Haiti. Protest, fight back, and fuck the system.
